Connect Appointments is recruiting Mechanical Assembly Operators to join the UK's leading manufacturer of specialist temperature-controlled and bespoke commercial vehicles, based at their Dunfermline facility.

Our client is a long-established, family-owned business with over 65 years of engineering excellence and a strong reputation for quality and innovation across the commercial vehicle industry.

What's on offer?

Full-time permanent position
Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm - early finish on Fridays
Up to £41,500 per annum - dependent on experience
Overtime and bonuses available
33 days holiday per yearAs a Mechanical Assembly Operator, your duties will include:

Assembling mechanical components to engineering specifications using hand and power tools
Performing quality checks throughout the assembly process and resolving build issues
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately
Collaborating with other departments to improve build flow
Maintaining accurate build records and a clean, safe work environmentTo be considered as a Mechanical Assembly Operator, you will need:

Experience in mechanical assembly or coachbuilding
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality
A team-focused approach with good problem-solving skills
