We are currently recruiting a Male Learning Support Assistant to work within a supportive school setting in Lambeth. This role is ideal for an experienced LSA who is confident supporting pupils with additional needs and managing challenging behaviour in a calm, consistent manner.

Rate: £95-£115 per day
Location: Lambeth
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, supporting their learning, behaviour, and personal care needs throughout the school day.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting pupils with challenging behaviour using positive behaviour strategies

Assisting with personal care when required

Administering medication in line with school policies and procedures

Supporting pupils to access learning and engage positively in the classroom

Working closely with teaching staff, SEN teams, and external professionals

Ensuring safeguarding and pupil wellbeing are prioritised at all times

Requirements

Male candidate (required)

Proven experience managing challenging behaviour

Experience with medication administration

Experience providing personal care

A calm, patient, and resilient approach

A strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
