About the Role
In this full time role, you will provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with Autism within a Year 3 class. You will play an important role in helping the pupil access learning, manage emotions, and engage positively throughout the school day.
You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support staff to provide consistent structure, reassurance, and encouragement. The role will involve supporting behaviour management, adapting activities where needed, and helping the pupil develop both academically and socially.
Previous experience working 1:1 with challenging pupils is essential for this position.
The successful candidate will be patient, calm, resilient, and committed to making a positive difference in a child's educational experience.
This role is due to start on the 8th June.
