Are you an experienced and compassionate professional with a passion for supporting individuals with complex mental health needs?
We are seeking a dedicated Male - Senior Support Worker / Team Leader to join our dynamic and person-centred team on a temp-to-perm basis for our client based in West London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong leadership qualities and specialist experience in mental health, forensic support, and recovery-focused care.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of:
* Complex mental health needs
* Dual diagnosis
* Forensic risk management
* Conditional discharge within mental health services
* Substance misuse support
* Recovery-focused and trauma-informed approaches
You will play a key role in leading frontline support, promoting positive outcomes, and ensuring individuals receive high-quality, compassionate care that promotes dignity, autonomy, wellbeing, and long-term recovery.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone with experience and/or a background in:
* Forensic psychology
* Social care
* Mental health and wellbeing services
* Community or supported living environments
You should be:
* Compassionate and empathetic
* Adaptable and resilient
* A confident leader and positive role model
* Committed to delivering outstanding, person-centred support
Qualifications & Training
Applicants should hold relevant qualifications, including:
* NVQ in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or be willing to work towards one
* Mental health nursing credentials (desirable)
* Experience within mental health and forensic settings
All frontline staff complete a comprehensive induction programme, including the Care Certificate, and are fully supported to achieve vocational qualifications where required.
