Smile Education are recruiting for an Upper key stage 2 Teaching assistant to work in a Primary school in Kidderminster. The school is rated ‘good’ in their latest Ofsted inspection and has a strong and welcoming atmosphere within the staff team.
The teaching assistant role would be working full time with children in Key stage 2, the role would be starting after May half term and continuing in September
The Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant:
Encouraging independence within the class and within students, being proactive
Develop and concentrate on building a relationship with the children, staff and family members.
Constant and consistent communication with the class teacher, regarding progress and potential methods of work.
Create a secure and positive environment for the child to learn and feel comfortable.To apply for this teaching assistant role, you will need:
An up-to-date DBS on the update service or dated within the last 12 months.
A teaching assistant qualification or health and social care (level 2 or 3).
Experience working with KS2 children
Experience working with Primary or secondary school children.
