A Fire Safety Consultant is required to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary team within a construction and property consultancy in London. The role involves working with a diverse range of clients across both the public and private sectors.
As a Fire Safety Consultant, you will have experience in delivering some of the following services:
* Fire Compartmentation Surveys
* Fire Engineering Services
* Fire Remediation Project/Programme Support
* Fire Risk Assessments
* Building Safety Management / Building Safety Act Support
Fire Safety Consultant responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with the preparation of bids and tenders.
* Supporting quality assurance and regulatory compliance for clients.
* Conducting site visits to deliver fire consultancy services.
* Providing fire safety advice and guidance to clients.
* Liaising with enforcing authorities where required.
* Advising on fire safety standards, legislation and industry best practice.
* Supporting the continued development of the Fire Consultancy Service.
Qualifications
* Level 5 minimum qualification achieved in Fire Discipline.
Experience
* Experience supporting fire safety projects within the built environment.
* Good communication and client-facing skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
* Understanding of current fire safety legislation and guidance.
* Experience in FRAEW would be advantageous.
This Fire Safety Consultant role offers hybrid, flexible working. The salary is £50,000–£60,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package including a car allowance, healthcare, pension and a generous holiday allowance, with the option to purchase up to five additional days.
