Proactive Personnel Blackburn are currently looking for FLT Reach and Counterbalance Drivers to start work in Blackburn.
Responsibilities
* Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
* Manage materials handling tasks, ensuring accurate placement and retrieval of goods.
* Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying deliveries and preparing items for dispatch.
* Maintain inventory accuracy using warehouse management systems.
Skills
* Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
* Both Valid CB & Reach licences, cannot accept in-house certificates.
* Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
* Strong materials handling skills with the ability to load & unload efficiently.
* Good understanding of shipping & receiving procedures.
* Basic maths skills for inventory counts and measurements.
* Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and prolonged periods on foot.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 06:00am-14:00pm/ 13:00pm- 21:00pm.
This role is looking to start on Thursday 28th May. Please be aware this is a temporary position with no guarantee of a permanent placement.
