Senior Cost Controller – Brighton (hybrid) – Perm – up to £60K plus great benefits

A major infrastructure programme is looking for an experienced Senior Cost Controller to join a high-profile project team delivering complex, large-scale works.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced project environment and enjoys owning cost control, forecasting and performance reporting across major capital projects.

What you’ll be doing:

* Managing project budgets, forecasts, accruals and Estimate at Completion (EAC)

* Producing detailed monthly cost and performance reporting

* Driving forecasting accuracy and cost analysis across the project lifecycle

* Working closely with contractors and external delivery partners

* Supporting change management, early warnings and compensation events under NEC contracts

* Collaborating with planning, risk and wider project controls teams

What we’re looking for:

* Strong experience in cost control on major infrastructure or engineering projects

* Excellent forecasting, reporting and analytical skills

* Knowledge of NEC contracts and change management processes

* Experience using cost management tools such as Prism or EcoSys

* Strong Excel capability and stakeholder management skills

* Professional accreditation (AACE, AcostE, AMP etc.) highly desirable

This role would suit someone from a project controls, quantity surveying or infrastructure finance background looking to join a forward-thinking organisation delivering nationally significant projects
