Production Operative

Huddersfield
£12.71 per hour – increasing upon permanent contract
Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm

We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join a busy and well-established manufacturing business based in Huddersfield. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, working within the manufacturing of patio doors and related products.

This role would suit candidates who are comfortable using tools, enjoy manual work and are happy working in a manufacturing setting where quality and attention to detail are important.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting with the manufacturing and assembly of patio doors
• Using pneumatic air tools and hand tools throughout the production process
• Manual handling and heavy lifting throughout the shift
• Loading and unloading materials
• Preparing products for dispatch
• Quality checking finished products to ensure standards are met
• Supporting different departments where required
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all health & safety procedures at all time

Skills:

• Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred
• Comfortable using pneumatic air tools or hand tools
• Able to carry out heavy, manual work
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
