A highly regarded secondary school in Tonbridge is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated PE Teacher to join their successful department from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Physical Education teacher looking for a new teaching role in Kent.
The school is looking for an energetic and inspiring individual who can deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 while promoting teamwork, resilience, and healthy lifestyles among students.
Key responsibilities include:
Teaching Physical Education across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory lessons
Supporting extracurricular sports clubs and school fixtures
Monitoring student progress and encouraging participation
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environmentThe successful candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting
Be passionate about sport, fitness, and student wellbeing
Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Be committed to raising achievement and participation levelsThe school offers:

Ongoing CPD and career progression opportunities
