The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a growing and dynamic facilities management company.

This is a mobile role, covering predominantly London (approx. 70%) with additional work across the surrounding Home Counties.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and fault-finding across a diverse portfolio of commercial sites.

Sites & Environments

You will work across a varied and interesting client base, including:

Dentistries
Restaurants & hospitality venues
Pub chains
Hotels
General commercial buildings
This is a true FM environment, requiring a professional and adaptable approach.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems
Fault finding, servicing, and repair of commercial boilers and plant
Work within plant rooms and varied commercial environments
Ensure compliance with Gas Safe regulations
Complete all relevant documentation and reports
Deliver a high level of service across all client sites

Call-Out Rota (Better Work-Life Balance)

1 day per rota cycle (not a full week)
6:00am – 6:00pm cover
Shared across the engineering team
A more balanced approach compared to traditional call-out structures.

✅ Requirements

To be considered, candidates must have:

Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer within Facilities Management (essential)
Background in commercial/corporate environments (NOT social housing)
Valid commercial ACS qualifications:

CODNCO1
CIGA1
ICPN1 (desirable)

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic experience
Full UK Driving Licence
Catering (Desired)
