Are you an experienced Highways Supervisor with experience on the National Highways network?

We are seeking a Highways Supervisor to support National Highways projects across a specific area within NH Area 10. This is a site-based opportunity for a proactive Highways Supervisor with a strong background in highway construction, maintenance, and site safety.

As a Highways Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations on site, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with National Highways standards. This contract offers an immediate start from 8th June, making it a great opportunity for a Highways Supervisor looking to secure their next assignment quickly.

Job Role
·Supervise and manage daily highway construction and maintenance activities
·Ensure all works are delivered in line with National Highways standards and specifications
·Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance
·Deliver toolbox talks, site inductions, and daily briefings
·Coordinate labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors on site
·Complete site records, permits, and reports accurately and on time
·Liaise with site management teams, clients, and key stakeholders
·Support programme delivery and ensure works remain on schedule

Requirements
·SSSTS or SMSTS certification
·CAT & Genny ticket
·First Aid at Work
·National Highways Passport
·Previous experience as a Highways Supervisor on National Highways schemes
·Strong understanding of highways construction and site safety procedures
·Confident leadership and communication skills
·Full UK driving licence
