Our client are specialists in their industry sector; they are looking to recruit a Multi skilled Maintenance Electrician on a permanent basis.
The job you’ll do
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs on a range of extrusion, automation, plant and facilities equipment.
* Diagnose and fault-find on electrical systems, including PLCs, control panels, drives, and motors
* Mechanical maintenance tasks including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and rotating equipment.
* Minimise downtime and ensure plant efficiency.
* Assist in continuous improvement and reliability projects.
* Installation and commissioning of new capital equipment on-site.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company H&S procedures.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records via MMS.
About You
* Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (essential).
* Electrically biased with strong fault-finding skills.
* Extensive experience within a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
* Knowledge of PLC fault finding (Siemens desirable).
* 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations preferred.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
* Flexible approach to shift work (12-hour shifts including nights).
* Strong team player with a proactive attitude.
* Desire to progress within the organisation.
