Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (Term Time Only)
Contract: Term Time Only | Short-Term, Long-Term & Ad-Hoc Opportunities Available
Salary: £14-£16 per hour (depending on experience)
We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a school in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, supporting students both academically and pastorally. The role involves assisting teachers in the classroom, supporting pupils with a range of learning needs, and helping to create a positive and inclusive environment. You will also provide mentoring and wellbeing support, encouraging students to build confidence, resilience, and engagement in learning.
What We Are Looking For
Ability to inspire and support students to engage positively with learning and reach their potential.
Genuine interest in helping young people develop emotionally, socially, and academically.
GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or equivalent.
Understanding of alternative education settings and supporting pupils with SEND or additional needs.
Previous experience working with children or young people in a school or similar environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive professional relationships.
Committed to safeguarding, inclusion, equality, diversity, and promoting positive values.
Able to travel to or work within Wolverhampton, West Midlands.
