A London-based opportunity is available for a motivated and building services oriented Senior Mechanical Engineer. This role is ideally suited to an experienced professional with strong technical expertise in building services design and a collaborative, leadership-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the mechanical discipline across assigned projects, ensuring successful delivery from concept through to completion.
Provide technical leadership and innovative engineering solutions within building services design, overseeing the development of complex systems and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Manage, mentor, and support a team of engineers and technical professionals, ensuring projects are appropriately resourced and team members are guided in their professional development.
Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining control over programme delivery, financial performance, compliance, and resource allocation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, translating project requirements into practical and effective design solutions while ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of multidisciplinary engineering principles to resolve complex coordination and design challenges.
Promote and support ongoing training and development opportunities for engineers, graduates, and apprentices through coaching and mentorship.
Ensure all project work is delivered in accordance with company procedures, technical standards, and document control processes.
Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and identify potential revenue streams.
Work towards or maintain Chartered status with a recognised professional body such as Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers, Institution of Engineering and Technology, or Institution of Mechanical Engineers.Benefits
