The Opportunity

We are recruiting for a mechanical biased maintenance engineer to join a large, well-invested state-of-the-art recycling service facility. Performing both planned and reactive maintenance. This is a high-performing facility with state-of-the-art machinery and an experienced engineering team. Their site in Enderby recycles paper and cardboard only from the commercial market. Therefore, it is a very clean environment to work in.

The Role

As a maintenance engineer, you’ll work with a range of recycling machinery including:

Bailers, woodchippers, bo binders and guillotines etc.
Your focus will be 40% reactive and 60% PPM. You’ll need to be confident working with both mechanical and electrical components.

The Person We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role as a maintenance engineer, you’ll need:

A strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance on heavy machinery
Experience working on both mechanical and electrical components
Confidence with strip-downs, rebuilds, and reactive mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis
Welding and fabrication experience
Basic hydraulic knowledge
