Position: HR Advisor
Reports to: CEO & COO
Location: Sutton Coldfield
Office-based, full time
Salary: £32-40K DOE
Qualification: CIPD Level 5 qualified
Our client are the UK's Premier online Retailer of precious metals, and have an exciting opportunity to join their team as a HR Advisor.
This is a standalone HR Advisor role, responsible for delivering a comprehensive, pragmatic HR service across the organisation. The role will support managers on all people-related matters, ensuring compliance with employment law while aligning HR practices with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
· Act as the first point of contact for all HR matters across the business
· Provide expert advice to managers on employee relations issues, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and absence
· Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from role scoping to onboarding
· Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures
· Ensure compliance with current employment legislation and best practice
· Support and coach managers to build confidence in people management
· Oversee payroll inputs, benefits administration, and HR records
· Monitor HR metrics and identify trends to support business decisions
· Lead on employee engagement initiatives and culture development including employee wellbeing
· Manage any HR projects and support organisational change as required
Skills & Experience Required
· CIPD Level 5 qualified or actively studying.
· At least three years in a previous HR role
· Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
· Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Benefits
20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 day per year of service to a
maximum of 25 days plus bank holidays
Company pension 3% employer contribution, after initial probation period
