An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Town Planner to join a well-established and highly respected multidisciplinary consultancy based in Bedford. This is an excellent role for a Planner looking to work on a diverse portfolio of projects while developing their career within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced planning professionals, delivering planning advice and managing projects across residential, commercial, mixed-use, and strategic development schemes.

The Role

Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
Conducting site appraisals and planning research
Liaising with local authorities, clients, consultants, and stakeholders
Supporting project delivery from inception through to approval
Assisting with planning strategies and development opportunities
Preparing reports, statements, and supporting documentation

Requirements

Degree qualified in Town Planning or a related discipline
MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership
Previous experience within a consultancy or local authority environment
Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage workload effectively and work within a team
