Teaching Assistant - Supply Opportunities (Immediate & September Starts)
Location: Knutsford/ Northwich
Contract: Flexible / Day-to-Day Supply | Long-Term Opportunities Available

Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a number of primary schools in Knutsford and surrounding areas who are seeking Teaching Assistants for both immediate supply cover and September 2026 starts.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work within schools, whether that's a few days a week, regular supply work, or a longer-term position from September.

You'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of school settings, supporting pupils of different ages and abilities. Roles may include general classroom support, interventions, and 1:1 support, including working with pupils with special educational needs (SEN).

We are keen to hear from experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates looking to gain school experience, and those considering long-term opportunities for the new academic year.

Responsibilities

Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities
Work with small groups or individual pupils
Assist with interventions and targeted learning support
Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Support pupils with additional needs where required
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning

Requirements

Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
A positive, flexible, and proactive approach
Passion for supporting children's learning and development
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to provide two references covering the last two years of employment history
An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

Pay

£92 - £100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
