Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Kirkham

Job Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Double Days (Week 1: 6am - 2pm, Week 2: 2pm - 10pm)

SRG are currently working with a growing manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support operations within a fast‑paced production environment. The role focuses on maximising equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and ensuring compliance with GMP, SOP, and Health & Safety standards.

Responsibilities include carrying out planned preventative maintenance, fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems, supporting breakdowns, maintaining accurate documentation, and assisting with machinery installation and improvement projects. You will work closely with the Engineering Manager and production teams, providing flexible support to meet operational targets.

Requirements:

Time‑served engineer with recognised electrical apprenticeship, and/or qualifciation (e.g. HNC, HND, etc. )
Skilled in Electrical and Mechanical maintenance experience, ideally holding 18th Edition wiring regulations
Strong fault‑finding skills on PLCs, 3‑phase systems, motors, drives, sensors, and relays
