The Role:
As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic lessons that encourage participation and promote a positive attitude towards physical education and wellbeing. You will play a key role in supporting students both inside and outside of the classroom environment.
Responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
Encouraging participation and promoting healthy lifestyles
Assessing and monitoring student progress
Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Supporting extracurricular activities and wider school initiatives where requiredThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A passion for sport, physical education and inspiring young people
Excellent communication and organisational skills
