We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Paraplanner to join a highly respected and forward-thinking financial planning firm. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong and client-focused professional to become a key part of a collaborative and supportive team.
If you enjoy working closely with Financial Advisers, producing high-quality recommendations, and delivering outstanding client outcomes, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Producing detailed and accurate suitability reports across a range of financial planning areas
* Conducting technical research and analysis on pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning
* Supporting Financial Advisers in preparing and implementing client recommendations
* Assisting with complex cases and high-net-worth client portfolios
* Liaising with providers, clients, and internal teams to ensure efficient case progression
* Reviewing and analysing financial information to support tailored client solutions
* Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring compliance standards are met
* Supporting and mentoring junior paraplanners where required
* Keeping up to date with industry regulations, products, and market developments
Experience and Skills Requirements
* Previous experience in a Paraplanner or Senior Paraplanner position
* Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and financial planning
* Level 4 Diploma qualified as a minimum (working towards Chartered status advantageous)
* Excellent report writing and analytical skills
* Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
* Confident communication skills with a professional and client-focused approach
* Ability to manage workloads independently and prioritise effectively
* Competent IT skills and experience using financial planning systems and research tools
* A proactive, motivated, and team-oriented attitude
