An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing business within the construction and specialist access solutions sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and commercially minded individual to play a key role in growing market share, developing new client relationships, and securing profitable project opportunities across a range of sectors including construction, infrastructure, public sector and facilities management.
The successful candidate will be joining a forward-thinking business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality specialist solutions across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and secure new business opportunities across multiple sectors
* Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, local authorities, and end users
* Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets
* Prepare tailored proposals and quotations to meet client requirements
* Work closely with internal operational and design teams to support successful delivery
* Attend networking events, exhibitions and industry meetings
* Maintain CRM records and provide regular sales reporting
* Deliver excellent customer service and encourage repeat business
Requirements
Essential
* Proven experience within a business development or sales role
* Strong track record of generating new business and hitting targets
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Self-motivated and commercially driven
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable
* Experience within construction, access solutions, safety products, or a related industry
* Knowledge of tendering processes and frameworks
* CRM experience
