Quality Inspector – Aerospace Manufacturing
Dorchester, Dorset
£37,500 per year
An established aerospace manufacturing company in Dorchester is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join its quality team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with aerospace inspection experience who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and has a strong eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out inspections in line with customer specifications and quality standards
* Inspect aerospace components and ensure compliance requirements are met
* Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
* Use a variety of inspection and measuring equipment
* Support continuous quality improvement across production
Requirements
* Previous aerospace inspection experience essential
* Strong knowledge of AS9100 quality standards
* Good understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
* Experience completing and reviewing FAIR documentation
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
* Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
