An established and growing geoenvironmental consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer / Engineering Geologist to join its Burton upon Trent office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of geotechnical and contaminated land projects across the UK while progressing your career within a supportive and professional environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will be involved in:
* Managing and supervising site investigations
* Producing geotechnical and geoenvironmental reports
* Completing GQRA assessments and foundation assessments
* Supervising remediation, validation, and earthworks projects
* Mentoring junior staff and attending client meetings
About You
Applicants should have:
* A degree in Earth Sciences or a related discipline
* Minimum 5 years’ UK experience in contaminated land and geotechnical investigations
* Strong knowledge of UK regulatory guidance and British Standards
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
* A full UK Driving Licence
Experience with OpenGround, AutoCAD, QGIS, or coal mining investigations would be advantageous.
