Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for long-term employment with a growing company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of a Counterbalance Forklift Truck, loading and unloading deliveries, moving stock within the warehouse, and supporting general warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
* Loading and unloading deliveries and vehicles
* Moving stock and materials around the warehouse/site
* Stacking and storing products correctly
* Carrying out stock checks and inventory duties when required
* Assisting with general warehouse duties
* Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times
* Keeping the warehouse clean and organised
Requirements
* Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence/Certificate (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent)
* Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift
* Good understanding of warehouse health & safety
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
* Flexible approach to work duties
Desirable
* Previous warehouse or logistics experience
* Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse systems
* Driving licence and own transport preferred
