Location: Paisley (Inchinnan Business Park)

Position Type: Full-Time, 6-Month Contract

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Pay Rate: Base of £13.20/hr + 25% shift allowance

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Operator I to become a key part of our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will provide crucial support to our production processes on-site, ensuring daily manufacturing requirements for cell culture media and reagents are met. Your dedication will directly impact the overall efficiency of our machinery and our ability to hit schedule targets.

This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity that provides ample time to learn new skills, develop across different work areas, and enjoy flexibility in your day-to-day tasks.

Shift Pattern & Hours

This position operates on a 37.5-hour weekly rotating shift pattern:

Week 1 (Early Shift): 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Week 2 (Night Shift): 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Week 3 (Back Shift): 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What We Are Looking For

Education: National 5 or better in Standard Grade Maths and English (relevant work experience will also be considered as a suitable alternative). School leavers are highly encouraged to apply!

Experience: Full training will be provided. No specific manufacturing experience is required, but you must be ready to embrace a fast-paced environment and show a genuine passion for our industry
Traits: A drive to continuously improve, working collaboratively to make processes better.
Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and external departments to uphold high standards of quality and service.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Working in a manufacturing environment with specific gowning requirements for graded and non-graded areas (all PPE will be provided).

Comfortable performing manual handling tasks, which may be repetitive and require standing for long periods.
Ability to work safely around chemicals and hazardous materials.
