Astute's Renewables Team is partnering with a renewable energy investor and asset manager to recruit an Asset Manager for its Dublin office.

Responsibilities and duties of the Asset Manager role

Reporting to the Director of Asset Operations you will:

Manage operational wind, solar and BESS assets across Europe
Take ownership of technical and commercial performance of assigned assets
Lead HSE standards and promote a strong safety culture across sites
Manage O&M, PPA, lease and service provider contracts
Monitor asset performance, reliability and optimisation opportunities
Develop and control annual OPEX budgets and operational spend
Produce performance reporting against technical, commercial and ESG KPIs
Support stakeholder management including grid operators, landowners and investors

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

3+ years' experience in asset management, operations or engineering roles
Strong experience in renewable energy (wind, solar or BESS preferred)
Degree in engineering, science or related discipline (Electrical Engineering preferred)
Strong understanding of MV/HV electrical systems
Experience managing contracts such as O&M, PPA or EPC agreements

Personal skills

The Asset Manager role would suit someone who is:

Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
Commercially aware with strong ownership mindset
Analytical and strong at problem solving
Proactive and safety focused
Organised and able to manage multiple assets and priorities
