My client is one of the UK’s largest adaptation installation companies who supply and fit a wide range of vehicle adaptations for people with disabilities or reduced mobility. We pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service and satisfaction. We are a family run business with national coverage which is expanding rapidly so now is a very exciting time to join us.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Installation Engineer to join our team in providing a service, fitting products for our customers!

We are looking for an enthusiastic customer focused candidate, with a professional approach, who is conscientious and produces high quality work. We fit hundreds of products, so no two days are the same.

Of course some days can be challenging but the job is very rewarding as we are giving someone their independence back and that is what we strive to do. You will be joining an ever-growing team who are fun, energetic, and eager to get the job done.

From day one you will be provided with on-the-job training, this will be ongoing throughout your career with us to ensure you have the full ability to carry out installations for all the products we supply and fit. A full training program will be put in place for the right candidate. This may include a qualification to work on Electric Vehicles.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will:

• Provide a professional Installation Service for all our products.
• This is completed either mobile at car dealerships, customers homes or our workshop facility.
• Deal with customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Work to a weekly and daily schedule of work.
• Install products to a high standard and carrying out quality control inspections.
• Carry out product demonstrations to customers after each installation to ensure they know how the products work.
• Carry out relevant product training as required.
• Carry out weekly checks to make sure stock levels are correct and current.
• Must be a team player with the ability to work alone.

You will be:

• Ideally experienced in the installation of vehicle adaptations, a vehicle mechanic or engineer and have some knowledge of auto electrics.
• Highly Flexible and used to working to high standards.
• Be able to perform well while under pressure while working to deadlines.
• Must be computer literate to send job reports and emails after each installation.
• Have a desire to contribute to the ongoing success of the Service and Installation Department.
• Valid Driving Licence.
