Senior Ecologist - Sheffield
Are you a passionate ecologist looking to take the next step in your career? An established and forward-thinking environmental consultancy based in Sheffield is looking for a dedicated Ecologist to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the UK, from residential developments and infrastructure schemes to nature recovery and biodiversity net gain strategies.

As an Ecologist, you'll be responsible for;
Conducting protected species and habitat surveys (e.g. bats, GCN, reptiles, badgers)
Producing high-quality technical reports including PEAs, EcIAs, and management plans
Supporting the delivery of Biodiversity Net Gain assessments
Liaising with clients, planning authorities, and stakeholders
Supporting junior team members and contributing to internal knowledge sharing
What We're Looking For;
A degree in ecology or related environmental discipline
Consultancy experience (or demonstrable equivalent)
Strong report writing and survey skills
Knowledge of UK planning policy and legislation
Ideally at least one protected species licence (or working towards)
Full UK driving licence
