Accounts Assistant

Location: Ascot
Salary: Competitive
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm with 1 hour lunch

My client based in Ascot is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable experience to join a global organisation.

The successful candidate will support the Accounting Manager across a variety of finance functions and will be highly organised, proactive and able to work accurately in a busy environment.

Daily Duties

Processing purchase invoices and employee expenses

Handling supplier invoice and payment queries

Preparing mid-month and month-end payments

Maintaining the Fixed Assets Register and bank reconciliations

Processing daily bank transactions and sales invoices

Maintaining supplier accounts and preparing customer/supplier statements

Supporting Accounts Receivable and Order Processing duties when required

Assisting with month-end processes and journal postings

Managing supplier onboarding and raising purchase orders

Ensuring accurate financial records are maintained at all times

Person Specification

Previous Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable experience

Strong IT skills including Excel and ideally Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Strong communication and customer service skills

Able to multitask, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines

Positive, proactive and a strong team player

Professional and able to maintain confidentiality at all times
