Trust has an exciting opportunity for Housing Care Workers to join our team based in Calton. This is an excellent job opportunity for those who live in and around Glasgow.

In return for your enthusiasm and commitment, we will offer you:

Competitive hourly rate of £14.04 per hour

3 posts available: 1 x 36.75, 1 x 32, 1 x 25.25 hrs per week

Shift patterns will be discussed at the interview, depending on which post is preferred. All posts require working alternate weekends.

What we’re looking for in our Housing Care Workers:

You’ll be working with our tenants to make sure they receive the support identified in their personal plan, ensuring they continue to enjoy as much independence as possible. You will assist with meal delivery and provide support in the dining room; there may also be very occasional kitchen duties. This is a rewarding role, assisting others to enjoy the best possible quality of life.

Skills and Experience:

Ideally, you will have an appropriate qualification in Health & Social Care and previous experience of working with older people or other vulnerable members of a community, so you will understand their needs and know how to meet these. If you are successful in joining our team, we can provide you with fantastic opportunities to develop your experience or enhance your career in social care and assist with your ongoing personal development.
