A Production Technician with a background of working within a High-Tech Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering related industry; good soldering, wiring and assembly experience and with strong fault-finding abilities, will join the production team of an award-winning High-Technology Company.

The Production Technician role will focus on the electro-mechanical assembly and test of a variety of mission critical imaging and security systems covering the manufacture and testing of mechanical, optical and electronic assemblies, component level fault-finding and documentation.

Applicants for this Production Technician role should bring the following skills & experience:

* A formal Engineering qualification.

* SMT soldering (to 0201) and PCB repair skills.

* Wiring and cable-harness assembly experience.

* Good fault-finding skills.

* The ability to read schematics.

* Some experience with electro-mechanical assembly.

* An understanding of clean room techniques.

* A basic understanding of SolidWorks or similar and electronic principles.

Applications are sought from Production Technicians with good attention to detail, with a proven understanding of both electronic and mechanical principles and with strong troubleshooting skills
