We are currently recruiting for Assembly Automotive Operatives to join a busy and growing automotive manufacturing team based in Hook, Hampshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work within a fast-paced production environment. The successful candidates will be responsible for assembling automotive components to a high standard, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity targets are consistently achieved.
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is advantageous; however, full training can be provided for the right candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble automotive parts and components accurately and efficiently
Work from technical drawings, instructions, or assembly specifications
Use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely
Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Work collaboratively within a production team to meet daily targets
Report any faults, defects, or health & safety concerns to management
Follow company procedures and health & safety regulations at all times
Support other departments when required Skills & Experience Required
Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience is desirable
Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
Good manual dexterity and practical skills
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible attitude towards duties and overtime where required Personal Attributes
Positive and proactive attitude
Strong work ethic
Good communication skills
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
