Salary: £37,002.70 – £39,459.80 DOE + £3,156.05 allowance
Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours

About the role

We are recruiting a Mechanical / Centrifuge Chargehand to support maintenance of centrifuges, grinders and plant equipment at Drinnick Stores.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on maintenance, reliability and safety.

Responsibilities

* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance

* Diagnose faults on plant equipment

* Support breakdown response

* Supervise a small engineering team

* Coordinate contractors and site activities

* Support installation and improvement projects

* Manage work orders and maintenance records (SAP)

* Ensure compliance with HSE and site procedures

Requirements

Essential:

* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering

* Industrial maintenance experience

* Strong fault-finding skills

* Experience with SAP or similar system

* Strong safety awareness

* Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

* Experience with centrifuges or similar equipment

* Supervisory experience

* Welding skills
