Junior Project Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised Junior Project Engineer to join a growing renewable energy business delivering innovative solar PV projects. You will gain hands-on exposure across live projects, work alongside experienced professionals, and build valuable technical and commercial skills within a supportive environment focused on development and progression.

Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of renewable energy and electrical projects from enquiry to completion

Prepare quotations, estimates, and technical proposals

Coordinate site surveys, installations, deliveries, and access equipment

Liaise professionally with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and installers

Maintain project trackers, CRM systems, and compliance records

Assist with procurement, material ordering, and delivery tracking

Prepare commissioning documents, O&M manuals, and handover packs

Support DNO/ENA applications and project compliance activities

Attend site visits to develop technical knowledge of renewable systems

Assist with invoicing, project costing, and tracking additional works

Qualifications & Requirements

Strong organisational and communication skills

Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn

Proficient in Microsoft 365 including Excel and SharePoint

Ability to manage multiple tasks across live projects

Professional and customer-focused approach

Full UK driving licence

Interest in renewable energy and low-carbon technologies

Engineering, construction, renewables, or electrical background desirable

Familiarity with CAD or project management software advantageous

Positive, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
