Job Description
A well-established engineering and manufacturing business is seeking a skilled TIG Welder Fabricator to join its team. This role involves working on high-quality fabrications across a range of materials, producing precision components to detailed specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out TIG welding on a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel.
Fabricate components from engineering drawings, ensuring high levels of accuracy and finish.
Read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
Prepare, cut, and assemble materials prior to welding.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets required quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Work both independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in TIG welding and fabrication.
Ability to work with thin gauge materials and produce clean, high-quality welds.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings.
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment preferred.
Relevant welding or fabrication qualifications are advantageous.
