This small but very busy tearoom and restaurant is part of a larger garden centre that is one of the most popular places for locals who lunch to visit day in day out
The tearoom and restaurant is busy from breakfast all the way through to lunch and afternoon tea.
They are renowned for serving high class, delicious dishes that range from paninis to more complex meals,
Their patisserie and pastry is legendary in the local area and you will never be short of something to do with your latest finish being 8pm on the odd accession.
What's involved?
As an experienced Head Chef, you will be expected to be extremely hands on, working side by side with the kitchen team and not expecting them to do anything you wouldn't do yourself (they have had a few office dwellers and are keen to avoid this!)
You will produce inventive, crowd pleasing dishes that suit as many tastes as possible and while this is most definitely NOT a fine dining operation standards are expected to remain high in both taste and presentation.
The Head Chef will report directly to the owner and have responsibility for staff training, motivation, and retention.
You will work a 45 hour week over 6 days with the hours being 8-4 Monday to Friday and 8-5 at weekends.
