Junior CNC Milling Setter / Operator
Location: Exhall
Shift: Day shift, flexible hours
Pay: £14.00 – £14.50 per hour
Type – Temp to Perm
Actio Engineering Recruitment are supporting a well‑established precision engineering company in Exhall as they look to add a Junior CNC Milling Setter/Operator to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with CNC experience who wants to develop their skills.
The Role
You will be responsible for setting and operating 3‑axis CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls, producing a variety of precision components. Duties include:
* Setting and operating 3‑axis mills
* Loading programmes and making basic adjustments
* Running batches to specification
* Carrying out in‑process checks to maintain quality
* Working with the wider machining team to meet production targets
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
* Some prior experience in CNC milling (setting or operating)
* Familiarity with Heidenhain controls or a willingness to learn
* A reliable, positive approach and good attention to detail
* A desire to develop and progress within precision engineering
