Job Description

Clarence Recruitment are seeking a skilled and motivated Teacher of ICT to join a secondary school in Leicestershire from September. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to become part of a dynamic and supportive school community, helping students develop the digital knowledge and technical skills essential for success in today's world.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging ICT lessons across the secondary age range, encouraging students to build confidence in a variety of digital applications, information technology systems, and online safety practices. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking department committed to innovation and high-quality teaching.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver inspiring and effective ICT lessons across KS3 and KS4
Prepare and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements
Support students in developing practical IT skills and digital literacy
Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
Foster a positive and productive classroom learning environment
Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in Information and Communication Technology
Experience teaching ICT at secondary school level
Confidence using a range of digital tools and technologies
Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
