The Role
A growing organisation is looking to appoint a CDM Advisor / Coordinator to support project delivery across a diverse portfolio.
This is a key role focused on ensuring full compliance with CDM Regulations, working closely with project teams, designers and contractors to embed health & safety throughout the lifecycle of projects.
What Will You Be Doing?
* Leading the implementation of CDM compliance across projects
* Preparing and reviewing Pre-Construction Information (PCI) and Construction Phase Plans (CPP)
* Coordinating with designers and contractors to eliminate or reduce risk at design stage
* Carrying out site inspections and audits (nationwide travel required)
* Supporting RAMS reviews and contractor onboarding
* Maintaining accurate HSEQ documentation and Health & Safety Files
* Assisting with incident investigations and reporting
* Delivering toolbox talks, briefings and HSEQ training
* Promoting a positive safety culture across all project stakeholders
What Will You Bring to the Party?
* Strong understanding of CDM Regulations 2015
* Experience in construction, shopfitting, civil engineering or similar environments
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential)
* SMSTS / Principal Designer accreditation and CSCS card
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
* Proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Desirable:
* NEBOSH General Certificate
* ISO auditing experience (9001, 14001, 45001)
* Membership of IOSH, APS or similar (or working towards)
