We are seeking an experienced and skilled CNC Machinist / Miller – Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our growing team within a precision engineering environment.

This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of programming, setting, and running CNC milling machines, ensuring high-quality production, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Programme, set, and operate CNC milling machines, including:
Bridgeport Vertical Mills (Heidenhain controls)
Haas Mills (Fanuc controls)
Coordinate all programming and setting activities, working collaboratively with other setters
Support 2nd operations machinery when required, including:
Thread rollers, grinding machines, drill banks, deburring tools, torque testers, and more
The CNC Miller will carry out first-off inspections and in-process checks for both 1st and 2nd operations
Work with a variety of materials including aluminium, stainless steels, and Inconel
Ensure all products meet compliance standards
The CNC Machinist will complete daily maintenance and cycle time documentation
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment

CNC Miller/ CNC Machinist - Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines – Flexible on CNC Branding Machines
Must have experience in Fanuc Controls
Strong working knowledge of 3 & 4 Axis Milling Machines
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Excellent measurement and inspection skills using a range of metrology tools
