Portfolio are delighted to represent our client in their search for a Senior HR Advisor. This is a thriving, well-established technology organisation who has gone from strength to strength for over 40 years. They have expanded their business to successfully open new offices nationally, and they have consistently won awards over the past 10 years. This is a fast-paced, commercial organisation who looks for dynamic individuals to embody their values, develop, and grow with them in the long term.

Supporting your colleagues in the well-established HR team, you will be responsible for delivering a high standard of HR support, advice and guidance across inductions, training, employee relations, policy queries, and general HR processes. In addition, you will act as a trusted point of contact for HR matters, the role contributes to employee relations, onboarding, development, and engagement, while playing an important role within the wider HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity where you'll have the chance to make a real impact on both current and upcoming projects and programmes for the organisation.

Responsibilities include:

Act as a trusted HR partner, providing expert advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
Provide HR support across inductions, onboarding and training coordination.
Manage a range of employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, performance concerns and absence management, ensuring timely, fair and legally compliant resolution.
Coach and support line managers to develop their capability, confidence and consistency in people management.
Maintain accurate HR data and ensure compliance with confidentiality and security protocols.
Support the development and improvement of HR policies, practices and processes, ensuring they remain aligned with legislation and evolving business needs.
Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, including employee engagement, well‑being, diversity and inclusion, organisation culture and HR process improvement.
Conduct routine meetings with managers to provide proactive HR advice and guidance.
Provide HR advisory support to our remote colleagues as needed, whether delivered remotely or through occasional / regular onsite visits.
Ensure consistent application of all HR policies, processes and standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and BSI frameworks.
Keep up to date with changes in UK employment law and ensure business practices remain compliant.Required skills and experience include, but not limited to:

A Levels (or equivalent Level 3 qualification)
Business related degree such as HR, Business Management, Psychology or Law
Proven experience in an HR Advisor role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
Experience using HRIS platforms (e.g., Moorepay) or ITSM style systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in HR documentation and record keeping.
Experience providing HR advisory support across multiple sites.
Ability to coach managers and influence positive people practices.
