Pertemps Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Acton from June.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Teaching Assistant who has experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and is confident working on a 1:1 basis within a Key Stage 1 setting.
The Role
Providing 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with additional needs
Supporting the child’s academic, social, and emotional development
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support
Using positive behaviour management strategies to maintain engagement and progress
Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school setting
Strong behaviour management skills
A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needsWhat the School Offers
