Job Title: Lead Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical authority in mechanical engineering to projects, drawing on your extensive experience from design consultancy, manufacturing, or operational site engineering.
- Join and lead multidiscipline project teams, guiding other mechanical engineers and designers while coordinating with piping, structural, and civil engineering specialists.
- Take responsibility for the successful outcome of assigned projects.
- Maintain and develop knowledge in the technologies of various business sectors.
- Actively participate in design reviews, attend client works, and build professional relationships.
- Deliver mechanical engineering work packages to contracted specifications.
- Suggest, justify, and implement improvements and creative solutions for technical problems.
- Consult with other engineers and experts regarding unusual or complex challenges.
Requirements
- Engineering Degree.
- Working towards or have Chartered Membership of a recognised institution.
- Strong customer focus.
- Aptitude for understanding new processes and technologies, and applying engineering knowledge.
- Analytical ability with keen attention to detail; strong problem identification, assessment, and solving skills.
- Experience in Oil and Gas, Chemical Manufacturing, Hydrogen, Carbon Capture, or Biotechnology sectors.
- Proven experience in leading teams of engineers and designers.
- Excellent technical written and verbal communication skills.
- Good IT skills
