We are working with a well-established manufacturing business operating within the plastics and blow moulding sector, supplying high-quality plastic packaging and moulded products into a range of industrial markets. The business has built a strong reputation for quality, service and manufacturing capability, and is currently investing in both its facilities and engineering team to support continued growth.

This is a great opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a supportive engineering team, working alongside the existing engineer to strengthen maintenance coverage and support the next phase of site development. With planned expansion across both the premises and engineering function, this is an excellent time to join a business where you can genuinely make an impact.

This role would suit a hands-on Maintenance Engineer who enjoys fault finding, improving machinery performance and being part of a close-knit team. Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across blow moulding and plastics manufacturing equipment

Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime

Support continuous improvement of plant reliability and engineering standards

Assist with machinery upgrades, modifications and future expansion projects

Support production teams to maximise plant uptime and operational efficiency

Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and to a high standard

Participate in out-of-hours engineering support where required

Skills & Qualifications of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

Multi-skilled engineer with a balanced mechanical and electrical background, stronger electrical capability preferred
