We’re working with a forward-thinking housing association looking to appoint an Assistant Financial Accountant to support their Finance Manager across treasury, VAT, cashflow forecasting and financial reporting. This is a great opportunity for a part-qualified accountant (AAT/ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CIPFA) or someone qualified by experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced finance environment.

The role will involve:

Cashflow forecasting and treasury support

VAT, CIS and regulatory submissions

Assisting with monthly and annual accounts

Supporting audits and financial controls

Producing accurate financial reporting and reconciliations

Balance Sheet reconciliation

What they’re looking for:

Strong technical accounting and reporting experience

Good Excel and analytical skills

Organised, accurate and proactive approach

Experience within a regulated sector desirable

Would suit candidates training in a financial practice
