Forklift Driver – Day Shift (Chelmsford CM3)
Join a busy wood timber merchant in Chelmsford (CM3) as a reliable and hardworking Forklift Driver. This is a great opportunity to secure ongoing work with weekly pay and a supportive team environment.
Working Hours:
• Monday to Friday: 07:30 – 16:30
Pay & Benefits:
• £13.50 per hour
• Paid weekly
• Full-time ongoing position
• Supportive team environment
• Temp to perm after probation period
Key Responsibilities:
• Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving timber and materials around the yard
• General yard work and housekeeping duties
• Assisting with stock organisation and storage
• Following all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
• Valid CB forklift licence – not in House. - ESSENTIAL
• Previous yard or warehouse experience beneficial
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Good communication skills
• Experience within timber or builders merchants advantageous
