Job Description:

Salary - hourly rate of £13.80

37.5 hours per week

Location - Huntingdon

Work as part of a shift pattern between 07:00 - 19:00, Monday to Friday, and occasional Saturday on-call hours

Initial 12 week contract

1) First point of Contract for Stake Holder.

Act as the primary day-to-day contact for the SZC project key stake holders – including the client, site operations and contractors. Support the Water Delivery Lead in maintaining strong working relationships through effective communication, coordination, and engagement to ensure an efficient, sustainable, and resilient service.

Respond to stakeholder communications (emails, phone calls, teams) within agreed levels of service, providing clear and timely updates.
Liaise with stakeholders through regular virtual and face to face meetings, and site visits where required.
Support the identification, troubleshooting, and escalation of operational issues to assist timely resolution.
Maintain clear, professional communication to support client satisfaction and ongoing business relationships.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and supporting improvement initiatives.
Develop within the role as the client requirements and project scale and complexity increase.
2) Scheduling and operational Coordination

Coordinate resources and schedules during operational hours to help ensure client requirements and delivery targets are met.

Identify and understand client requirements, ensuring all details are accurately captured in relevant systems.
Process delivery requests and maintain the scheduling system in a timely manner.
Schedule and coordinate work efficiently, assigning tasks to contractors and monitoring progress.
Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to verify work status and ensure client satisfaction.
Timely resolution of site access or deliveries problems.
Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, documents and processes to plan, track and record delivery information.
Work with stakeholder to ensure all client, legal, health and safety records are recorded and maintained
Participate in a shift-based working pattern to ensure consistent stakeholder support and coordination during operational hours.
Provide clear, timely reporting to key stakeholders.
3) Data Management and Financial Process

Support operational visibility, compliance and financial resilience through accurate data management and financial processes.

Maintain accurate records of completed work to enable effective operational tracking and reporting.
Ensure all client, legal, health and safety records are maintained accurately and remain fully auditable.
Maintain clear and accurate records to support financial monitoring and control to support efficient and month end process including
Verifying and processing contractor invoices
Preparing accurate data and supporting documentation for the client invoicing
Resolve stakeholder queries promptly and professionally
4) Management of Contractors

Support the Water Delivery Lead and HSEQ team to ensure site operations are delivered safely and in full compliance with relevant policy, procedure and legislation.

Ensure all work requests are clearly understood to enable safe, compliant and efficient delivery.
Assist with the reporting, coordination, and escalation of good catches, near misses, incidents, accidents, and HSEQ observations received from site, ensuring accurate records are maintained and information is escalated to the Water Delivery Lead and/or HSEQ team as appropriate to support continuous improvement.
Provide support with site based activities, including site, tanker and contractor inspections and assisting with audits of documentation.
5) Team support and Crossover

Support the Department Manager and wider Water Delivery team to ensure continuity of service and effective team operations.

Work collaboratively as part of the team to support efficient and effective departmental performance.
Provide cross-cover for the Water Delivery Lead and Administrator, including financial and administrative tasks, as required.
