Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for an exciting new opportunity? Service Care is delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing company based in Preston. We are seeking a dedicated Credit Controller to join their dynamic Credit Control team on a permanent basis. This role offers a hybrid working environment, a competitive salary of £26,600 per annum, and excellent benefits.

About the Credit Controller Role

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the sales ledger, ensuring payment terms are adhered to, and actively chasing overdue payments via telephone and email. You will play a vital role in maintaining positive customer relationships while keeping accounts accurate and up-to-date.

Candidate Responsibilities

In your role as a Credit Controller, your key responsibilities will include:

Making outbound calls to customers to chase unpaid invoices and recording notes on customer accounts
Handling customer queries and requests promptly, investigating account discrepancies
Proactively collecting cash and reconciling accounts to ensure timely payments
Managing daily and weekly banking processes
Allocating receipts to individual accounts accurately
Processing card payments and maintaining records on Excel
Monitoring credit limits, reviewing new credit applications, and maintaining credit hold accounts
Releasing orders when payments are received or accounts are settled
Performing other ad hoc duties as requiredCandidate Requirements

To succeed as a Credit Controller, you will need:

Previous experience in Credit Control
Strong team player with high attention to detail
Professional telephone manner
